The direct sales cosmetics company – Younique Products – has recruited Mukhtar Siddiqui as its new Chief Scientific Officer, to lead all the Research & Development efforts at the company’s internal lab.

In his new role, Siddiqui will oversee all the formulations, testing, processing, manufacturing, and quality for new products, from development to launch. He commented on his new role, saying: “Uniting science and nature will be our focus at Younique as we continue to select the finest, safest, cleanest, and most effective cosmetics ingredients.”

Siddiqui has more than 30 years of experience in the health and beauty industry, with six US patents in the cosmetics, skin care, and hair care categories. He has researched, developed, formulated, and launched hundreds of products globally, working with brands such as Almay, Playtex, Max Factor, Jhirmack, Johnson & Johnson, AirWick, LaCoupe, and Shaklee.

Younique is based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and has been growing steadily, reporting a period of rapid growth at the end of last year.
